Since its inception in 2017, Beaubleu values originality and the ability to surprise. They are in constant search of new ingredients to cultivate their unique vision of “the art of the twist”. Their founder, Nicolas Ducoudert believes that creation is the driving force of innovation, and it occupies a central place at Beaubleu. They attach great importance to creating solid, useful and endearing objects that collectors want to keep and pass on to future generations. Their desire is to create products that tell a story, both in their use and in the choice of materials.
Introducing the Seconde Française reference 19.24 and 20.24, instantly recognizable as a Beaubleu designs, however, something is off. Instead of three circular hands all running off the same axis, the seconds are displayed by a small, independent circle hand floating around the perimeter, pointing to its own track, at the very edge of the dial. All the white hands are coated in X1-grade SuperLuminova. The case is the same as their Vitruve model, measuring 39mm in diameter, 10.2mm thick and 45mm from lug-to-lug. It also features the same hidden crown system, creating perfect visual symmetry from above.
