QUICK RELEASE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HEDDELS

Keep Top Time with the Breitling and Deus Chronograph

Whether biking, boarding, or hiking, if speed is what you’re after, you need a way to track it. Australian lifestyle brand Deus and Swiss watchmaker Breitling have teamed up to make an attractive timekeeper in their Top Time collaboration chronograph watch.

As we’ve explored in the past, a chronograph is an impressive mechanical combination of standard clock timekeeping and a stopwatch available at the press of a button. Deus have looked back to Breitling’s original chronograph, the Top Time, which was designed and introduced in 1964 by the grandson of Breitling’s founder, Willy Breitling.

Deus released accompanying apparel as well.

The sleek 41mm stainless steel case features a cobranded black dial with three chronograph subdials, and a unique red lightning bolt second hand, all surrounded by a tachymeter to keep pace. It’s all powered by Breitling’s house-made BO-1 automatic movement, that’s visible through the clear caseback.

If you want a crack at Top Time, this limited collaboration is available for $8,250 at Breitling.

This is the house account for Worn & Wound. We use it on general articles about us, the site and our products.
