Swedish watch brand Tusenö is known for going above and beyond to incorporate customer feedback into the latest iterations of their highly sought after models. For the unfamiliar, the brand’s name was taken from an old book of sea charts, referring the Swedish West Coast as “the Coast with the Thousand Islands”, or in Swedish, “Kusten med de Tusen Öarna”. After the swift sell out of the Windseeker’s initial launch in February 2023, and subsequent sell out of additional editions in June 2023, Tusenö announced this week the latest evolution of the Windseeker. As the brand is known and loved for, this iteration brings subtle and impactful enhancements taken from customer feedback.
A color matched date wheel, previously white on all models, creates a seamless and cohesive aesthetic across the blue, silver, and black options. Markings on the rehaut have also been removed, further adding to the clean visual experience. Tusenö has also upgraded to Grade A BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova®, above the standard grade, offering a more powerful glow in low-light conditions. Finally, an additional half link on the quick change metal bracelet ensures a perfect fit on any wrist.
These enhanced features launch an already adored novelty further into the enthusiasts’ dream space. A reliable Sellita SW200 movement powers the 39 mm diameter case that sits just 10.5 mm tall on the wrist (excluding the flat sapphire crystal glass). A screw-in big crown gives the piece 100 meters of water resistance, meaning this watch can truly go anywhere, and do anything, while still keeping its wearer looking poised.
